My name is Dimitrios Loucas, and with my website, I have listed
many legitimate home based businesses that can enable you to do what many of us would love to do, work from home.
What I’d like
to do first is tell you a little bit about my background. I come from a Greek family, kind of like the family from My Big Fat
Greek Wedding.My mother had family here already, and decided to join them.
My father, on the other hand, heard
about the “Land of Opportunity", and decided to move across the Atlantic for a better life. So, to better his life, he decided
to leave everyone he loved to move to a country where he didn’t know the language. I can’t admire him enough for what he did,
and was able to accomplish.
So where have I been? Well, I’ve had about 15 jobs since I was 16. My first job was working
at a grocery store as the meat clean-up person. This person cleans the meat department at night when the butchers go home…yummy
When I was 23 years old, I started my own home based business because I loved the idea of being my own boss and having the ability to work
from home. I was so excited to have my own home based business. I set up my office, and I was ready to work from home
and have the financial freedoms I dreamed of. Yes, the idea of being able to work from home is a great idea, but I had no idea
where to start.
I knew that I was a part of a legitimate home based business, and I was witnessing other people making a very
nice living, but I wasn’t, and I was discouraged. I guess you can say that I thought it was just enough to have a home based
business. I didn’t really know what I needed to do to get my home based business off the ground and running. What a huge
experience for me. I went from work from home to work for someone else.
So after I failed running my own home based business
I got myself a job. Having worked in the corporate atmosphere, I decided to work for some small companies. Working for
a small company had its advantages. One of the big ones, and the reason I decided to work for a small company was that there
wasn’t the politics that a large company has.
The only problem with a small company is just that, it’s a small company. You just don’t know if it’s going to be around, most small businesses don’t survive, or if there was really any career development
for you at all.
So, after jumping around between small companies, I decided to go to work for a large one. A friend of
mine was working for a Fortune 100 company and got me a job there. Now I was back to working in a cube and dealing with the
politics. I wasn’t happy, but I was making money. Making money is what it’s all about right? Making money is great,
but I realized no matter how much money you make, if you’re not happy, it really doesn’t mean anything.
Being an entrepreneur at heart, I still wanted to have my own legitimate home based business. I know that there are a lot of people out that have their own legitimate
home based business, and also have financial freedom. I wanted that too, I was determined to find that legitimate home based
business opportunity, and attempt to work from home again.
I did have one problem. I never knew where to look or
what type of business I wanted to start. I looked everywhere. I looked at franchises, opening up a hot dog stand, and
it didn’t dawn on me until a few of years ago that the Internet is where it’s at. The Internet has exploded to such proportions
that any legitimate home based business with the right marketing can bring in a lot of revenue.
Let's think about the Internet for a moment, and how big it really is. You can literally start a home based business today and
start marketing it to the world tomorrow. This is no joke. There are customers all around the world and you just need to get your niche in front of those
customers.
After thinking about it, I decided that I wanted to have an Internet home based business. I was in front of
a computer as it was, why not be in front of a computer work from home, and enjoy life, the way it’s suppose to be enjoyed. I started searching the internet.
I search for the term home based business, and my search results came up with millions of sites. Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t have that much time on my hands. However, I continued to look.
Wow, were there a lot of scams out there, but I was determined to find that legitimate home based business so I could work from home, and
work for me.
